Training & Becoming Allstars
The mission of the Pocono Bobcats Cheer Program shall be to provide youth within Monroe County an opportunity to participate in a locally competitive cheerleading sports organization. Our goal is the athletes that walk onto our field want to stay. This program will be open to all kids who have the desire and time to belong to such an organization. Through commitment and teamwork we will assist our members in the development of physical and social skills including: respect for teammates and other competitors, the ability to communicate effectively, leadership skills, building strength through physical conditioning, and learning to both win and lose with compassion and grace. We have amazing volunteers who love the sport. We will have firm coaches but they will progress your athlete! We are big believers in progression but we teach the kids they have to work hard to achieve what they want. We like to win and we work them hard but we want to make a difference in their lives. We get to know each child, learning what they like and who they are as a person. Building relationships with them throughout the years they are with us just by simply listening to their thoughts and ideas.
